Labels for Tougher Conditions
Need some heavy-duty stickers or durable labels? Here at inkREADible, we are specialists in supplying customised vinyl stickers and laminated labels which stand up to the toughest conditions.
Some situations clearly demand special purpose label materials and adhesives to do the job properly. Here are just some of those situations and conditions where they are needed:
Weatherproof Labels
Tough labels that can be exposed to all weather conditions from ski resorts to the Sahara Desert: rain, damp, cold and UV rays of the sun. Be aware that some colours do not work well to sun and UV rays, we can advise you on further on this.
Marine Labels
Specialist labels that are not just waterproof labels but can also endure salt water. Using aggressive adhesives these labels will remain in place despite the demanding conditions.
Chemical Resistant Labels
Labels that can be exposed to heavy duty cleaning products and other potentially corrosive chemicals. These might also include warning labels and industrial labels.
Equipment Labels
Often used in rugged manufacturing environments and resistant to a host of conditions including chemicals, grease and dirt. This may also include calibration labels and stickers but also equipment inventory labels. Scruff proof labels for more aggressive conditions might be a benefit for some appliances and machinery labels.
Maintenance and Service Labels
Labels for gas or electric boilers, heat pumps etc. are especially useful for recording the date of the next service but also, importantly, company contact details, all while meeting industry standards.
Labels for Long-term Use
We can supply tough labels in different materials according to the conditions in which they will be used, and also the surfaces to which they will be applied i.e. wood, glass, plastic or metal. Material choices will be affected by short or long-term label usage; if the product needs to stay around for a while, then vinyl and polyester films will give greater resistance to oil, moisture, chemicals and abrasion. More cost-effective paper labels can also be used but they will wear out more quickly.
The one thing these labels all have in common are the harsh conditions in which they are used. We have over 40 years’ experience in meeting the challenges of providing solutions for labels to be used use in extreme applications. We can offer different label materials, finishes and adhesives to provide great looking and long-lasting labels.
Please note that we recommend that materials should be tested to ensure they meet with your specific requirements before placing an order.
