Specialist Labels and Stickers
Many of the labels we print are standard, run of the mill labels, but at inkREADible we are also well known for printing labels that have a specialist purpose or nature. Here are just some of the specialist labels we supply and how they can be used.
Tactile Triangle Labels
This is when we print a raised triangle onto a label. Labels with tactile triangles are used for labelling dangerous chemicals, which could include abrasive cleaning products through to vape labels. If products are classified as toxic or flammable for example, then tactile triangles must be used to communicate to the visually impaired that the contents are harmful. Nowadays there are a number of products that must be labelled with a tactile triangle including some aerosols and cigarette products.
Printed Barcode Labels

Peel and Reveal Labels
These clever labels and stickers have multiple layers that can be peeled off to reveal another layer or even multiple layers. They are particularly good for a small container or bottle, hence why they enjoy popularity with the health and beauty industry where they are applied to products like cosmetics through to vitamins. Multiple layer stickers save a lot of space whilst still being able to include all necessary information: use the top layer for the most eye-catching design and the other layers for information that needs to be included to meet legal obligations for example, or perhaps add multiple languages. These are also known as peel off stickers, and they have many ingenious promotional purposes.
Spot UV Labels
This is a special label process which involves applying a tough clear coating that is then exposed to ultraviolet light. As the name suggests, the spot refers to part or parts of the label as opposed to coating the whole label. Adding eye-catching shine to specific areas can emphasise a design or give more dramatic stand out. Unlike other label suppliers, we are able to offer labels with two spot varnish finishes rather than just one.
Embossed labels
This is when part of the label, the lettering or logo for example, is made to stand out. During the printing process, pressure is applied to the label material to make part of it sink down (debossed labels) or raise it up (embossed labels). It can be a subtle but effective way to make your labels stand out and is a good consideration for a label redesign.
Laminated Labels
If you need a label for tough conditions, then laminating your labels is the perfect option. We offer scruff proof laminated labels which will resist the toughest conditions.
