inkREADible Supporting Charity in 2023
It’s been a busy year for us and not just the business of supplying printed labels. In 2023 one of our goals was to become more involved in our local community, supporting both our customers and local charities. Overall, this engagement has had many positive effects on our staff morale and has produced a number of bonding ‘moments’ with our customers. Here’s a look at what we have done over the last year, and didn’t we have fun on the way!
Abbfest, Newton Abbot
When one of our Fire Protection label customers asked us if we would be interested in being one of the sponsors at Abbfest this year, we jumped at the chance. A long weekend of food, drink, comedy, music and supporting the local community was right up our street. Thank you to Roy and his team of volunteers for organising a great festival, and we have pledged our support again for 2024. Rowcroft Hospice, Torquay
One of our valued charity label customers is Rowcroft Hospice. With the support of our amazing food and drink label customers who generously donated their delicious goodies to a Christmas hamper, we managed to raise £140 through Rowcroft’s dedicated JustGiving page. We chose Rowcroft because of the amazing work they do in our local area and because they are all incredibly lovely people too! You can find out more about Rowcroft Hospice by clicking here.
Dalemain Mansion, Cumbria
As a leading supplier of award medal stickers, we have worked with Dalemain Mansion for many years on the wonderful Marmalade Awards. This event is an absolute joy to work on as the talent never fails to impress.
Through The Marmalade Awards, Dalemain Mansion has raised nearly £250,000 over the years for local charity, Hospice at Home Carlisle and North Lakeland, and for palliative care both in the UK and overseas; inkREADible donates 10% of the sales of the award medal stickers to Dalemain's chosen charity every year and although strictly speaking not local, we will continue to show our support in 2024.
